AI translator for Google Sheets
Translate sheets.Keep the logic.
Translate selected cells or an entire Google Sheet with Google Translate, OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini—without copying rows into another tool.
Formula protected
Formula cells are detected and skipped during translation.
Stay in the sheet
No export, copy-paste, or reimport loop.
Choose the engine
Use fast machine translation or context-aware AI.
Protect the workflow
Skip formulas and optionally clone before translating.
Built for spreadsheet reality
A translator that understands rows, ranges, and formulas.
The add-on works inside Google Sheets and treats a spreadsheet as a working document—not as a block of text. Select the scope, choose a target language, and follow the job from the sidebar.
Translate the exact cells you need
Work on a selected range for a quick edit or process the current sheet for a complete localization pass.
Learn more →Keep formulas out of the translation queue
Formula cells are detected and skipped, while an optional cloned sheet gives you a rollback point before bulk changes.
Learn more →Give AI your terminology rules
Tell OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini which brand terms to keep, what tone to use, and how preferred phrases should be translated.
Learn more →See progress and cancel when needed
Follow translated-item counts, status, and estimated time without guessing whether a large job is still running.

Clear answers about engines, formulas, data flow, language support, and Pro activation.
Ask another question →What can I translate?+
You can translate the current sheet or only the cells and ranges you select. Formula cells are detected and skipped so spreadsheet logic is not replaced with translated text.
Which translation engines are available?+
Google Translate is available in the free version. Pro unlocks OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini so you can choose an AI engine for content that needs more context or custom instructions.
Do I need my own AI API key?+
No. The add-on provides access to its supported engines. You select an engine in the sidebar without configuring separate OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini credentials.
Will it overwrite my formulas?+
Formula cells are skipped during translation. You can also keep the clone-before-translation option enabled to create a copy of the sheet before a bulk run.
Can the source language be detected automatically?+
Yes. Source language detection can be left on automatic while you choose one of 134 target languages.
Can I control terminology and tone?+
Pro AI engines support custom translation rules. Add instructions for brand terms, tone, words that must remain unchanged, or preferred translations, and those rules are applied to AI requests.
Can I stop a translation after it starts?+
Yes. The sidebar shows current progress, total items, status, and an estimated time. You can cancel an active translation from the same interface.
How do I activate Pro after purchasing?+
Open the add-on sidebar, select Activate or Manage, enter the activation code supplied with your purchase, and restart the add-on after activation.
